Responsibilities:
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION
Department
Murata India Bangalore team

Reports to
Murata India Managements

Functional Relationships
–          Mission is to expand Automotive business as an account owner.
–          Promote and create new business from new/existing customers
–          To create relationship with OEM (ex. HERO) and service provider (example. Ola)
–          Collaborating technical support team in Murata Singapore which is Regional HQ and Murata Japan HQ, candidate is required to proceed all business opportunities (OPPs) together with them until we Murata get order from customers.
–          By communicating/sharing information, OPPs with Murata US, Europe, China and Japan team as an account owner, to maximize OPPs. (Making new business models/schemes, linking purchasing team with R&D team/make clear Supply Chain Map (SCM) etc.)
–          To manage several accounts by amending sales budget, checking daily/weekly/monthly sales situation.
–          To support customers’ requirement daily basis like technical inquiry, sample request, delivery with CS (customer service team)
–          All sales activities(Trip report, Opps and etc) need to be visible on CRM (Sales force)

Position Profile
–          Based in Bangalore or Delhi
–          Candidate is required to travel within India.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
–          As an account owner, to make/maintain relationship with right persons in unknown/known customers in order to get business OPPs and information which we can proceed business opportunities until receiving orders.
–          Candidate should be able to collect basic information (customer organization/role, roadmap, needs, project schedule, share, competitors’ information, technical trend customers are aiming at etc.) from customers and Murata internal organizations/persons.
–          Candidate is required to promote all Murata products in order to get OPPs and cultivate demands/needs in customer side.
–          To perform presentations including technical one to customers and understanding of customers’ project specifications and needs.
–          By listening to needs of customers/OPPs and understanding it, to propose 1st cut idea in order for technical support team to understand what we can sell and arrange meetings with right persons (Internal/external).
–          To report what you discussed with customers and Murata internal supporters in our system.
–          In report, candidate is required to mention fact and estimation separately to provide right messages.
–          To study various market information/trend which our clients are focusing on in order to make suitable proposals.
–          To keep updating opportunities by adding progress regularly.
–          To have capability to review/analyze result/facts in order to make better idea to take actions.
–          Meet Yearly Sales plan by executing product sales policy & strategies.
–          Should understand how to work as Seeder sales.
–          Based on that understanding, candidate should aim to maximize business chances as Murata whole company.
–          Candidate need to understand customer production plan/demand and correctly update it to system.
–          Candidate need to be able to analyze the gap data between budget and result of sales amount
–          Candidate need to try to recognize SCM(Supply chain map) and VCM(Value chain map)
–          Candidate need to understand market/technology trend in order to recognize potential demand

ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED/ATTITUDE
–          Graduates in Electronic Engineering or Business Administration, Mathematics and Statistics
–          Preferable at least 7-10 years relevant experience in either one of MNC/electronics component manufacturers/Electronic Distributor
–          Good analytical, report making, PJT/Time management skills.
–          Listening skill to understand real intention of speakers.
–          Microsoft Office skills: Excel (Pivot, Formula etc.) and PowerPoint.
–          Strong communication, Interpersonal and presentation skills.
–          Team player with positive attitude and self-motivated.
–          At least, understand equation.
–          Good attitude must be required like honest, humble/aggressive, curiosity, sense of advancement.
